Before you join Hereward College, your needs and wants are assessed and you are allocated to a programme or pathway which meets your specific requirements and aspirations.
English and maths are included across all study programmes and there is a focus on developing employability and enterprise skills.
You will have the opportunity to access work experience, taster sessions, careers support and placements related to your study as well as developing communication skills and preparing for independent living.
Anyone who wants to receive free meals or financial support for transport costs for 2026-27 MUST submit a bursary application and supporting evidence. Find out more on our Financial Support page.
