Wonderful week of work experience
The last week before half term saw students embracing work experience in many ways.
They continued with their pixel gaming development and are really getting to grips with the game fundamentals.
The Riding for the Disabled Association (RDA) has allowed us to continue our work experience at Lowlands and our lucky students got to meet Archie.
More than 40 students attended a talk about creating your own careers brand by the team at HSBC.
Hospitality students were able to showcase their customer service skills, catering for external visitors and setting up a cafe. They served some of our most valued employer representatives and it was a lovely morning.
And Foundation students visited Tile Hill Library to learn about the digital sounds of the city and are excited about creating their own Hereward sounds with borrowed sound recorders. Find out more: Digital Spaces at Coventry Libraries – Coventry City Council
We are very thankful for all of the amazing employers who have supported our Job Coach team this term and are looking forward to more great opportunities for our students.
