Parents
Coventry City Council's Complex Communication team has put together a Back2School parent pack to help parents/carers prepare their children and young people with transition back into school following the COVID19 lockdown. The material is particularly useful for those young people with social communication difficulties and ASD. 

The SEND Information Advice and Support Service (SENDIASS) has lots of useful links, information and resources around Covid-19 and supporting young people with SEND.  The team are still offering advice by phone and email www.covadvice.org.uk/advice 07923 126426 or 07923 126430.

Covid Mutual Aid UK is a group of volunteers supporting local community groups organising mutual aid throughout the COVID-19 outbreak in the UK. It provides resources and connects people to their nearest local groups, willing volunteers and those in need.

The government has published a list of approved SEND resources developed with a focus on accessibility and inclusivity based on the recommendations of teachers, charities and trusted organisations.

The British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy have released a list of ways in which you can help young people who may be struggling with the change and uncertainty brought about by the COVID-19 outbreak.

TechAbility have released information around hardware and software which may be useful for learners at home.

Everybody Worries is written and illustrated by Jon Burgerman. The illustrated book provides plenty of ideas for dealing with coronavirus in a positive way.

National Online Safety have developed an online safety application which acts as a hub for all online safety knowledge. With insightful courses, explainer videos, webinars and topic guides, it's designed to help adults protect young people online.

Led by Coventry and Warwickshire Mind with Coventry & Warwickshire Partnership NHS Trust.  The Recovery & Wellbeing Academy offers a wide range of courses and workshops that have been specifically designed to help people become an expert in their own wellbeing and recovery.

Shout 85258 is a free, confidential, 24/7 text messaging support service for anyone who is struggling to cope. As a digital service, Shout 85258 has become increasingly critical since Covid-19, being one of the few mental health support services able to operate as normal at this time.
