Residential Students
We have onsite residential accommodation at Hereward College for young people wishing to study with us. Residential stays can be booked in both 36 and 49 week options.
Our purpose-built residential accommodation provides a home from home environment with ensuite bedrooms, fully accessible bathrooms, laundry service and adjustable kitchens.
If you choose to stay with us on a residential basis, you will develop independence and life skills, make new friends, gain confidence and take more control over your own care with the support of our experienced staff.
Our
two-year transition to work programme allows young people to develop the skills for life and work - providing an opportunity to reach their full potential. The programme will allow students to develop skills such as resilience, communication, workplace behaviours, independent travel, money management and interview preparation – essential for entering the workplace. They can also benefit from our partnerships with regional and national employers, which provide the opportunity for permanent jobs.A holistic package of support also includes nursing, speech and language therapy, physiotherapy, assistive technology specialists and educational psychologists.
