Mental Health First Aid & Advocacy in the Workplace: Level 2
Overview

Around 450 million people currently experience mental health problems, with recent reports suggesting that over 12 million working days were lost due to work-related stress, depression or anxiety in just one year. It’s important that employers are transparent and open about mental health issues, and this qualification builds an understanding of mental health problems and the support available to colleagues. Increasing the understanding of mental health of staff at all levels builds a culture of care and support.

Course delivery and assessment

The programme enables learners to complete the course in their own time, and all study material and resources are provided.  Learners have access to a tutor and the programme is marked based on modular assessment. There is also the opportunity to work through a series of reflective activities designed to reinforce the learning.

Entry requirements

Learners should be aged 18 and over, but otherwise there are no entry requirements.
