In all our courses you will study to acquire new skills to support your vocational programmes and improve your independence skills.  You will work to understand personal finance issues, develop problem solving skills, increase employability and work at a pace which suits you.


Foundation Pathway

(Pre-Entry Level, Entry Level 1 and Entry Level 2)You will be equipped with skills for life through skill and experience based projects to help you decide on your future goals. You will work at your own pace with individual targets. We also offer a sensory Learning for Life programme for young people with profound and multiple learning disabilities.

Personal achievement is crucial on the Foundation Pathway with growth measured by learners’ individual targets. Key goals include community contribution and improved independence.

Explorer Pathway

(Entry Level 3 and Level 1)You will follow a project based programme of study which allows you to specialise in a subject at Level 1 while gaining a well-rounded education. There is a focus on employability and enterprise, and you will follow an individual learning plan based on practical learning experience.

Individual achievement and completion of qualifications are the key measurement for learners on the Explorer Pathway. You may progress to the Discovery Pathway, take up employment or further education opportunities and generally become more independent.
