If you’re interested in joining us at Hereward we strongly advise you arrange a visit to college or come along to one of our Open Days which take place throughout the year.
Once you have completed an application form, you will be invited to attend an assessment at college. If you are applying for a day place, this usually takes up to 2 hours. For a residential assessment you need to allow a day and you will also be required to stay overnight at college.
You will be notified in writing if you are offered a place at Hereward and we will prepare a funding application to send to your Local Authority.
We run a programme of transition visits in the spring and summer terms where you will get the chance familiarise yourself with the college, have lunch in Café Mojo, and meet other learners and staff.
You will also receive an induction pack during the summer holiday before you are due to start which tells you everything you need to know about coming to college.
The first few days of term are induction days for new starters, giving you the opportunity to get to know members of staff, other new learners, explore the college and find your way around the site.
