Art WorkWelcome to the Creative and Media section of our website. We offer an extensive range of highly creative, vocational and academic qualifications for you to choose from, to gain the skills for a future in the creative industries. The Disability Arts programme offers opportunities for you to explore aspects of self identity and develop positive images through a range of creative and expressive media.

  • Visual arts - you will learn how to draw and find out about experimental techniques in painting, printmaking, ceramics, textiles and graphics using a computer creatively to generate posters, illustrations and publications.
  • Media - you will learn about animation, advertising, television, digital photography, camera techniques for making films and music videos and how to develop a small business in the media industries.
  • Performing arts - you will learn how to express yourself as an actor, dancer or musical performer. There are opportunities to get involved in drama performances, gain experience of different acting styles and find out about the entertainment industries.
  • Music Technology - you will learn how to become a musician using the latest state of the art musical technology or form your own band and perform musical concerts.
