Hereward College students wowed their classmates and teaching staff at their employability and enterprise skills fayre this month.
The aim of the fayre was to allow students to demonstrate entrepreneurial skills they had developed while taking part in ‘Exploring Futures’ curriculum and employability sessions.
Making the most of festive season, the Christmas themed event showcased the best of their talent from Christmas gift tags, jewellery and cosmetics, to product design of the highest quality on the very on-trend 3D printer. The event was interspersed with music and chat from student-run Hereward Radio, co-ordinated by DJ Jake Leonard.
Staff praised their efforts;
“our learners at Hereward have been developing their enterprise skills through a wide variety of activities and this event is a great opportunity to showcase these”
Andrew Commander, Academic & Vocational Provision C urriculum Manager continued,
“I see these skills as vitally important to all students and will support them with their aspirations, beyond their time at Hereward College.”
