Learners at Hereward College in Coventry celebrated their end of year in style at a leaver’s ceremony attended by local businesses, councillors and parents.
Visitors were treated to an afternoon of song and dance shows from Performing Arts students as well as animations and presentations from Media and Business students.
Councillor Kevin Maton, Cabinet Minister for Education provided the keynote speech and said:
“It’s surprisingly emotional watching the achievements of you all here today. What you have demonstrated is a real commitment and ability to take your place in the world – and I really hope that some of you go on to represent the communities you work with.
“I wish you on behalf of the people of Coventry all the best for the future and that we continue to support the great work which is taking place at Hereward.”
