Hereward’s annual Care Quality Commission (CQC) inspection has found the college to be fully compliant in all areas for the second year running.
Hereward College located in Tile Hill, is a general Further Education college that provides day and residential support to a range of physical, sensory and emotional abilities with student provision being regularly assessed. The CQC inspection team look at a wide range of areas, including nutritional needs, infection control, complaints and safety and suitability of equipment; certifying the standard of care.
CQC reported an excellent relationship between staff and students, as well as students feeling very positive about the care, accommodation and support they receive.
A residential student commented;
“The accommodation is really good. It gives you a sense of independence and having your own space…nothing is too much for anyone”.
Jon Clugston, Vice Principal for Student Independence and Progression said
“This is a reflection of the outstanding commitment of the staff and the substantial resources the College has invested in the accommodation and facilities over the past few years”.
