College students have been celebrating the end of their academic year in style with an activity packed fortnight, aptly dubbed Hereward Festival.

Hereward College, based in Tile Hill, celebrates the end of their summer term every year with a host of exhibitions, activities and festivities, including their outdoor Party in the Park event, which showcases a series of end-of-year student performances.

Staff, students and local schools are invited to take part in the festival, which concludes with a ceremony to celebrate student achievement.

Mike Shaw, Vice Principal for Quality and Curriculum said: “Everyone looks forward to these celebrations; it’s a great opportunity for all of our staff and students to get involved and is always a fitting end to a great year of student successes.”

Hereward would like to give a special thanks to Morrisons Holyhead Road and Sainsbury’s Canley for donating event nibbles, and Acorn Printing for supplying festival t-shirts.
